Astronomy was long back accepted as a science but unfortunately astrology was unable to offer adequate scientific evidence and was given the status of a pseudoscience. Still both of them are called twins. Why?
It is said that astrology and astronomy originated from an equivalent roots thousands of years ago. Even a couple of centuries ago, astronomy and astrology were considered to be an equivalent things. But with the advancement of science, each and every practice had to offer scientific evidence to prove its usefulness.
First let me tell you what's the difference between the two. There is a marked difference between astronomy and astrology. Astronomy is the scientific study of the celestial objects such as stars, galaxies, planets, etc. whereas astrology uses the positions of the planet and relates it to the events of a person’s life (yeah! The horoscope thing).
Astronomy tells about the universe and various aspects of the system and therefore the celestial bodies. On the other hand, astrology utilizes the information related to position of planets and stars and attempts to draw a connection between the celestial bodies and human affairs.
Astrology is based on astronomy but isn't like it. The main reason behind this difference is that astronomical calculations are same for everyone, but astrological calculations differ from person to person.
Although many of us consider astrology to be a leisure timepass, there are many (like me) that still believe this genuine practice and base the important decisions of their lives on the basis of astrology.
So how is it that even after lack of scientific evidence, astrology still remains to be a trustworthy practice that plays a serious role in people’s daily lives? The reason is that astrology might not be a science but the predictions made by the astrologers have worked for the betterment of individuals since many centuries and continues to do so.
The concept of astrology is very simple. Every individual is exclusive and thus, their horoscope charts are unique also. No two horoscope charts are equivalent because every one has their own destiny supported their karmic actions.
As the karma of an individual changes, so does their fate and thus, only they hold the facility to vary their destiny. This is what astrology teaches them and guides them to the proper direction that leads them to fame and fortune.
While astronomers tell about the physical nature of celestial bodies, astrologers deal those aspects of planets where their positions can hamper the functioning of the lives of the people on earth.
And it's an undeniable fact that many of us have gotten solutions to their problems through the medium of astrology. Although astronomy and astrology vary a lot, they rely of one common base: the universe. And that's what keeps them connected!

I thought it would be better not to delete or revamp these posts, even if they suck. The bitter truth is that old works always suck, but I take that as a positive tool to convey that I am growing. Besides there's no better way to showcase my journey without these old, messy, poorly written posts!
