Why do we sneeze?

  You generally sneeze to get rid of from foreign particle that have entered your nose. But how does this work??? When a foreign particle like pollen, dust, smoke, etc. enters your nose, it irritates the inner skin and hairs of your nose. This sends a signal to the brain that now you have to sneeze to push the foreign particle out. Thus your body gets prepared for a very complex action called as sneezing. Your muscles get stiff, your heart slows down, etc. Then as you sneeze, your nose hairs pushes out mucus, water, certain oils, and the foreign particle out. If the foreign particle doesn't get out of the nose in one sneeze, you sneeze repeatedly.

  People also sneeze when there are flu germs or cold germs in the nose, i.e., when they have fever, flu or cold. This is body's natural response against germs.

  Some people sneeze when they come in contact with sunlight. They are not allergic to sunlight. It is a reflexive sneezing that occurs with light. Such sneeze is the result of Photic Sneeze Reflex (PSR).

Conclusion

  People sneeze due to many reasons and sneezing is a very complex process. It occurs when an irritant or foreign particle like pollen, dust, smoke, etc. enters our nose or it also happens when germs are there in our nose.

  This is the reason we sneeze.

I thought it would be better not to delete or revamp these posts, even if they suck. The bitter truth is that old works always suck, but I take that as a positive tool to convey that I am growing. Besides there's no better way to showcase my journey without these old, messy, poorly written posts!
