How were pyramids built?
The huge stones wont to build the pyramids, were carved many miles faraway from the particular site. According to an ancient painting, Egyptians may need used sledges to move the stones.
Now, pulling sledges on sand would be difficult, because the sand would clump ahead of the sledge, increasing friction and requiring more force to tug it. However, the intelligent Egyptians had a solution.
In the painting, we will see someone pouring water on sand. Adding correct quantity of water to sand reduces friction, requiring only half the people to tug it.
Also, cranes hadn't been invented yet. Thus, Egyptians built huge ramps to stack the stones on top of every other, creating this architectural masterpiece.
This was how pyramids were built.
Posts before October 2021 have been marked as "Old Posts". Less likely, but they might have out dated or incorrect information, ugly looking bits of code, no labels, etc. Don't get me wrong, many of these posts are top-notch and interesting too.
I thought it would be better not to delete or revamp these posts, even if they suck. The bitter truth is that old works always suck, but I take that as a positive tool to convey that I am growing. Besides there's no better way to showcase my journey without these old, messy, poorly written posts!
