Why do we become deaf while doing a task?
Have you ever noticed that some people ignore you when they are doing a visual task like reading a book or playing a video game. Even if you shout at them, they won't listen. But why does this happen?
People don't ignore you. They become temporarily deaf when they do a visual task. The reason behind this is 'inattentional deafness'. This means that when people perform certain tasks, and they involve so much in that task with increased focus and concentration, they become deaf. This means that sounds from the outside don't affect them.
So this is a scientific reason of inattentional deafness.
Posts before October 2021 have been marked as "Old Posts". Less likely, but they might have out dated or incorrect information, ugly looking bits of code, no labels, etc. Don't get me wrong, many of these posts are top-notch and interesting too.
I thought it would be better not to delete or revamp these posts, even if they suck. The bitter truth is that old works always suck, but I take that as a positive tool to convey that I am growing. Besides there's no better way to showcase my journey without these old, messy, poorly written posts!
