What are the most interesting lunar facts?
We all know that the moon is tidally locked with the Earth, it is Earth's only permanent natural satellite, it drifting away, and all. But what are really some interesting lunar facts? Here are a Top 10 of them:
- February 1865 is the only month in recorded history not to have a full moon.
- Moon also has quakes called as moon quakes. They are caused due to gravitational influence of the Earth.
- There is water on moon which is trapped in ice form in the permanently dark craters.
- Seen from the moon, the Earth also goes through phases.
- Only 12 people have walked the moon. And all of them are American males.
- Our moon is bigger than Pluto and slightly smaller than Mercury.

I thought it would be better not to delete or revamp these posts, even if they suck. The bitter truth is that old works always suck, but I take that as a positive tool to convey that I am growing. Besides there's no better way to showcase my journey without these old, messy, poorly written posts!
