Why do we smell hot food from far away?
Dogs are good at smelling. But so are we. We can smell hot food from a distance. But do you know why?
At the point when food gets prepared, it expels aromatic gases into the air. The particles of these gases spread and blend in with air particles.
At the point when this air arrives at our nose, we get the smell of food.
This cycle of spreading and blending of a substance with another substance is called dispersion.
We can't smell cold food but we can smell hot food. On warming food, the atoms of its fragrant gases increase active energy and begin vibrating quicker.
They spread and blend effectively into air, prompting an expanded pace of dispersion. Thus we can smell hot food.
As the food gets cool, the temperature of the sweet-smelling gases
diminishes.
The active energy of atoms diminishes and they don't
vibrate as much any longer.
In this manner, the pace of dissemination diminishes and we can't smell
the food from a good ways.
Posts before October 2021 have been marked as "Old Posts". Less likely, but they might have out dated or incorrect information, ugly looking bits of code, no labels, etc. Don't get me wrong, many of these posts are top-notch and interesting too.
I thought it would be better not to delete or revamp these posts, even if they suck. The bitter truth is that old works always suck, but I take that as a positive tool to convey that I am growing. Besides there's no better way to showcase my journey without these old, messy, poorly written posts!
