Why do babies tuck their thumbs in?
Not all, but most of the babies tuck their thumbs and fingers in. Why is it so?
Well, the reason lies between development of the baby in the mothers womb. The most delicate area in the mothers womb is not the baby. Yes. Instead it is the amniotic sac that envelopes the baby.
The baby is stored in a liquid sac called as amniotic sac which is a crucial organ in development of the baby. It is the most thin and delicate part of the womb. Although the baby's fingers are very soft, it can still tear apart the sac.
With the thumbs and fingers tucked in like the fist, the sac is prevented from tearing apart.
When babies are born, they have the same fist in their hands and so they tuck in their thumbs.
Posts before October 2021 have been marked as "Old Posts". Less likely, but they might have out dated or incorrect information, ugly looking bits of code, no labels, etc. Don't get me wrong, many of these posts are top-notch and interesting too.
I thought it would be better not to delete or revamp these posts, even if they suck. The bitter truth is that old works always suck, but I take that as a positive tool to convey that I am growing. Besides there's no better way to showcase my journey without these old, messy, poorly written posts!
