Is yawning contagious?
We all have heard that yawning is contagious. But how true does this hold?
All few theories that explains why yawning is contagious, one among them suggests that it's sign of empathy. Empathy is that the ability to know and share others feelings. Like, when the people around us are happy and cheerful, it also makes a positive impact on us. Thus, we feel good and happy.
Moreover, the closer we are to someone like our parents, friends or loved ones. We are are more likely to catch there yawn.
Another theory suggests that mirror neurons are present in brain make us copy or mimic someone's actions. Hence, once we see people around us yawn, our mirror neurons get activated and making us mimic the yawn.
We may have involved such feature to have social bonding.

I thought it would be better not to delete or revamp these posts, even if they suck. The bitter truth is that old works always suck, but I take that as a positive tool to convey that I am growing. Besides there's no better way to showcase my journey without these old, messy, poorly written posts!
