Why do we see lightning before thunder?
Have you ever noticed that in monsoon, we first see the lightning and then hear the thunder? It's easy...
First we have eyes in the front and then ears are the sides. Thus we see first and then hear.
Nah! Just kidding.
The speed of light is nearly 3,00,000 m/s. And sound travels with a speed of only 340 m/s. Thus, light travels faster than sound.
When a lightning takes place, sound and light are emitted at the same time. But we see light first as it reaches us before sound as it is faster. And then we hear the thunder.
If you haven't noticed it yet, make sure you so so in the upcoming monsoon... ⚡⚡⚡⚡
Posts before October 2021 have been marked as "Old Posts". Less likely, but they might have out dated or incorrect information, ugly looking bits of code, no labels, etc. Don't get me wrong, many of these posts are top-notch and interesting too.
I thought it would be better not to delete or revamp these posts, even if they suck. The bitter truth is that old works always suck, but I take that as a positive tool to convey that I am growing. Besides there's no better way to showcase my journey without these old, messy, poorly written posts!
