How do birds fly in the rain?
Surprised looking at a bird which is flying in the rain? Stop wondering. Here is the answer...
Birds fly by pushing air downwards with their wings. When it rains, birds do the same. They push the air downwards and fly. Their feathers are quite waterproof, thus rain isn't a problem for them.
However, strong winds during rains can make it trickier to fly. Birds even have a nictitating membrane in the form of a semi-transparent third eyelid that blinks sideways. This helps to keep their vision clear even in rain.

I thought it would be better not to delete or revamp these posts, even if they suck. The bitter truth is that old works always suck, but I take that as a positive tool to convey that I am growing. Besides there's no better way to showcase my journey without these old, messy, poorly written posts!
