Why is red light used at the traffic signal for stopping?

Are you bored stopping at a traffic signal and accidently your friend asks you that why is only red light used at the traffic signal for stopping??? And you don't have answers to it? This won't happen once you read this post...
A red light for STOP serves two purposes. One reason is that red coloured has the greatest wavelength and thus it has maximum visibility. As it can be seen from a very far distance, it is used for stopping.
Moreover, red colour is always associated with danger or warnings. Thus a red signal for stopping warns the driver to... to stop. Thus a driver can lower his speed once he sees red light from a distance...
Posts before October 2021 have been marked as "Old Posts". Less likely, but they might have out dated or incorrect information, ugly looking bits of code, no labels, etc. Don't get me wrong, many of these posts are top-notch and interesting too.
I thought it would be better not to delete or revamp these posts, even if they suck. The bitter truth is that old works always suck, but I take that as a positive tool to convey that I am growing. Besides there's no better way to showcase my journey without these old, messy, poorly written posts!
