What are the most saddest facts about astronomy?

  Astronomy is not all about exploration. There are many things and facts about the space and astronomy that sound so sad. Here are are a top 10 of them...

1. There are many planets with the radius as the Earth that bare likely to boast life. In fact, many of them even have liquid water on them. But they are so far away from us that we cannot reach them.
2. Pluto never completed an orbit around the sun while it was considered as a planet.
3. The speed of light is 3,00,000 km per second and nothing can travel faster than that. That is the speed limit of the universe.
4. Voyager 1 is the farthest space probe in the solar system which is currently trying to exit the solar system. But by 2030, it will start freezing, it will be out of fuel and will shut down.
5. On its first birthday on Mars, the Curiosity rover was programmed to play "Happy Birthday"-to itself.
6. Many robots and rovers study mars intensely. But they will never meet each another due to their distance.
7. ISEE-3, a spacecraft that launched in the '70s was still transmitting a signal to Earth in 2008, but nobody had been listening for nine years.
8. Voyager 1 won't reach another star system for 40,000 years, and even then it'll be over a light year away from the star.
9. We can never visit 99.9999999999% of the observable universe due to distance.
10. One day, everything is going to die. All the stars will burn out, all the black holes will evaporate, all the planets will be dried up and not in a bang, but instead the universe will die slowly. Perhaps the more depressing thing is that, humanity would have been extinct trillions of years before the last stars go dark.

I thought it would be better not to delete or revamp these posts, even if they suck. The bitter truth is that old works always suck, but I take that as a positive tool to convey that I am growing. Besides there's no better way to showcase my journey without these old, messy, poorly written posts!
