What if we drink too much water?
Let me clarify- There is no problem at all if we drink too much water. The problem is if we drink too much water in a short span of time. So what is it and what if we drink too much water???
Our kidneys have a specific processing limit under which it can purify blood and process water. If we drink too much water exceeding this limit, then our kidneys will not be able to eliminate excess water from the body. As a result, water level from the body increases and sodium levels decrease. This condition is known as hyponatremia or water intoxication (in simpler words).
Sodium is an essential electrolyte of our body. As it will reduce due to excess water, it can cause many problems like swelling of cells, etc. At times it also might be fatal.

I thought it would be better not to delete or revamp these posts, even if they suck. The bitter truth is that old works always suck, but I take that as a positive tool to convey that I am growing. Besides there's no better way to showcase my journey without these old, messy, poorly written posts!
