When do our fingers get wrinkly?
Wrinkling of fingers is a natural involuntary response in wet conditions. Wrinkly fingers are a reaction of our nervous system.
Why do our fingers get wrinkly in water?
When our fingers are in water for a long time, our nervous system causes the blood vessels in the fingers to shrink. This makes the deeper skin layer to contract whereas the outermost skin layer remains the same. In turn, the outer skin layer becomes loose and forms small folds or wrinkles.
Scientists suggest that it might be an evolutionary adaptation. Besides this, wrinkly fingers help us to get a better grip in water for picking up wet objects. It also prevents them from slipping. Moreover our feet also get wrinkly which helps us to walk in water without slipping.

Posts before October 2021 have been marked as "Old Posts". Less likely, but they might have out dated or incorrect information, ugly looking bits of code, no labels, etc. Don't get me wrong, many of these posts are top-notch and interesting too.
I thought it would be better not to delete or revamp these posts, even if they suck. The bitter truth is that old works always suck, but I take that as a positive tool to convey that I am growing. Besides there's no better way to showcase my journey without these old, messy, poorly written posts!
