Why is darkness black?
This question make people dive into curiosity. This seems silly, but for science enthusiasts like me, there is no other option than to explore and find out convincing answers.
Color of any object depends upon what color it reflects. In such case, color of a notebook page is white because it reflects all the colors.
Thus, objects which absorb all the colors are said to be black. But such objects are almost impossible to be found out in the nature. There is a famous color called VANTA BLACK which is supposed to be the darkest color on Earth. But still it absorbs on 99.925% of light and not 100%.
Thus things appear black when there is insufficient amount of light to reflect back from the object, because most of it is absorbed!
Now, darkness is absence of light. In such case, there is no light to reflect. And when there is no or insufficient amount of light to reflect, we perceive things as black.
Thus darkness is black.
Posts before October 2021 have been marked as "Old Posts". Less likely, but they might have out dated or incorrect information, ugly looking bits of code, no labels, etc. Don't get me wrong, many of these posts are top-notch and interesting too.
I thought it would be better not to delete or revamp these posts, even if they suck. The bitter truth is that old works always suck, but I take that as a positive tool to convey that I am growing. Besides there's no better way to showcase my journey without these old, messy, poorly written posts!
